In 1953 the brothers Juan, José and Vincent Lladro made their first creations at their home in Almassere Valencia. In 1955 they began making sculptures clearly influenced by the trends of the 18th Century.
Due to the unexpected demand for Lladró , the brothers set up their own business in 1958, located at Tavernes Blanques, Valencia.
The exceptional quality of the hand crafted porcelain figures is famous worldwide. The attention to detail is characteristic of their impressive compositions.
