As a young boy Daniel Swarowski often watched his father at work. After visiting the “First Electrical Exhibition” in Vienna, he was inspired to invent a machine that could cut crystal to perfection.
This was achieved in 1892 and marked the beginning of the world renowned Swarowski Crystal.
