The Hungarian firm of Herend was founded by Vince Stingl as a pottery in 1826. In 1839, inspired with new ideas and ambition, Mór Fischer started manufacturing artistic porcelain.
The porcelain is decorated by skilled painters with years of training behind them and they alone have permission to put their name next to the Herend logo.
